7. No irrelevant or off-topic posts. Posts which are not relevant to the forum topic may be deleted at the moderator's discretion.
8. Use good judgement. NEVER rely on information or opinions exchanged via the forums or chat rooms to replace proven documentations
Forums - Label label label
Sticky (26 posts so far) | | Label label label comes up when installing mcafee
so far the fix/resolution available is the FF:
Scenario: Customer when tries to install McAfee using the DMsetup getting a blank screen with a message "Label, Label, Label"
Proposed Troubleshooting:
1. Remove "Temporary Files , Cookies and Temporary Internet Files".
2. Uninstall "Old Mcafee Programs and 3rd Party Programs" and Restart the computer if found.
3. Remove all mcafee , mcafee.com , network agent folders
If Windows XP from "c:\Program Files" and "C:\Document and Settings\\Application Data"
If Application Data folder is not found in My Computer click on Tools > Folder Options > View tab > select Show Hidden Files and Folders > Apply > Ok
If Windows Vista "C:\Program Data\McAfee"
4. Run The MCPR Tool and Restart the computer. To Run MCPR, the Windows Version must be.
WINDOWS VISTA, WINDOWS XP SP2, WINDOWS 2000 PRO SP4.
5. Check for System Configuration.
